Sunday May 25, the Dreams community lost The Sojourner, who was the guiding force for the Dreams community and Shockproof.
A memorial site has been established on Dreams for remembrances.

    • The 3rd Annual Dreams Fair opened on April 11th 2008 with over 50 health & support, education and arts groups participating. This years fair has been a real team effort, and we thank each and every one of you who has helped us to put it together. This years Fair offers information booths for various groups in Second Life, rides, games, freebies and lots lots more. We currently have over 75 events scheduled for this two week period and these include discussions, classes, competitions,live music performances and dance events.
      The fair opened at 3.30pm PST with speeches from The Sojourner, SamBivalent Spork and myself followed by an awesome performance by Ideamen, a group that was formed in 2006, Ideamen brings to the table the vision of Tim Swanson and the talent of Mark Vasquez, Dave Solar, Phil Goodrich and Jeff Piekarczyk. These gentlemen are all experienced musicians and entertainers. Ideamen were followed by a 2 hour Dance for Life and health Event with DJ Ricken Flow who was representing Nyumba Rafiki LGBT Community Service group and gave us 10 top tips for staying healthy.

Has anyone else been to the Dreams Fair yet? It's been a wonderful thing to see so many health related groups in SL meeting and sharing information with the larger community. Share some of your experiences!

Our group had one of our meetings at the fair last weekend, and it was a delightful experience. Just great to exchange ideas and perspectives with the SL community.
