      Type 1 is usually diagnosed in children or young adults (previously known as juvenile diabetes). It may also develop during pregnancy. The body does not produce insulin anymore. Many affected people are rather slim than corpulent. However, having type 1 diabetes increases the risk for many serious complications. Sharing each others knowledge can help to prevent these & preserve health.
