- Thank you for your interest in placing a memorial at Asagao Memorial Park. Note that the memorials at Asagao are intended to remember someone lost to suicide. Please consult Search for other types of memorials and their locations in Second Life.
To have a memorial placed for someone lost to suicide select one of the following options.
OPTION I:
Send the following information to Peter Gretzky:
1. Name of the person. This is usually a first name or nickname.
2. Whether or not you want to have a brief floating message. If so, specify what you want it to say.
A candle will be placed with the name of the person in the Name field and the name of the SL avatar who requested it in the Description field. Such contact information is necessary in the event the memorial needs to be moved.
OPTION II:
Instead of candles, we also offer the option of placing a small object that may have more meaning for you. If you choose your own object you'll need to transfer it to Peter Gretzky for placement. Due to instances of griefing we have to limit the placement of objects to Asagao Memorial Park management personnel. Custom objects will need to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. The memorial should be roughly of equal size to the others
2. Should not contain any scripts other than for simple floating text
3. Allow modify/transfer permissions
Send the object within the guidelines above along with the information listed in OPTION I, above. You will be contacted once the memorial is placed.
