Purpose: Recovery Journey is a safe on line place for anyone who is concerned about his or her use of any addictive substance. A place for
recovering alcoholics and addicts to find fellowship and support to stay clean and sober. Anonymity provides protection for all
members from identification as alcoholics, a safeguard often of special importance to newcomers. Attendees are never asked to reveal
their RealLife name, only their SecondLife Avatar name. The Recovery Journey group has one meeting weekly within the online game
Second Life.

Method of Communication: This meeting uses Voice and Chat. Voice is not necessary but would be good if you could hear the conversations in voice, even if you would rather use Typed Chat.

Instructions: To attend the meetings in Second Life, you have to join the game, which is free (although you can upgrade to premium membership.)
